NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the order dated 18.01.2019 (Annexure P-9) vide which the recommendation of the Department dated 28.12.2018 (Annexure P-8) has been rejected. Further a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing respondents No.1 and 2 to extend the period of waiting list and to issue appointment letters to the petitioners against the posts left vacant in the quota of their respective categories under Category No.30 of the advertisement dated 30.12.2016 (Annexure P-1) and to keep 12 posts vacant during the pendency of the writ petition.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous.

Disposed of as having become infructuous.
