AVNEESH JHINGAN, J.(oral) The matter has been taken up for hearing through video conferencing due to COVID-19 situation.

The present petition is filed seeking direction to respondent No.1 to consider the name of the petitioners for promotion by fixing seniority as per letter No.1/18/2018-4GS dated 03/07.05.2018, by considering the services rendered by the petitioners in the Armed Forces for calculating seniority. Mr. Deepak Manchanda, Addl. AG Haryana, who has received advance copy of the petition puts in appearance for the respondents and accepts notice.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that a legal notice dated 09.06.2020 is served and the same is to be decided by respondent No.3 i.e. Principal, Chief Conservator of Forests, Haryana. The petition is disposed of with directions to respondent No.3 to decide the legal notice in accordance with law, after providing an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners.
