(ORAL) By way of present petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.1 to 3 to protect life and liberty of petitioners who are in live-in relationship at the hands of respondents No.4 to 6.

Learned State counsel informs that statements of respondents No.4 to 6 have been recorded at Police Station Radaur, District Yamuna Nagar wherein they have deposed that they are not extending any threat to the petitioners as the parents/elders only intend to know about the welfare of their daughter i.e. petitioner No.1. 3.

In view of the aforesaid stand taken by respondents No.4 to 6, respondent No.2 is directed to arrange a meeting between the petitioner No.1 and respondents No.4 to 6 so that respondents No.4 to 6 are in a position to know the well-being of their daughter-petitioner No.1.
