(ORAL) In pursuance of order dated 09.05.2022, height of the petitioner has been re-measured by the Board of Doctors of Government Medical College and Hospital, Sector 32, Chandigarh. A report of the Board of Doctors dated 20.05.2022 has been received in the sealed cover, according to which, height of the petitioner is 183.5 cm and therefore, the petitioner is not entitled for 10 marks as per clause 2.3 of the advertisement No.2/2021, according to which 10 marks are to be provided for height from 184 cm and above. The report dated 20.05.2022 is taken on record and marked as Annexure A.
Consequently, the instant petition stands dismissed as the petitioner does not fulfill the requisite criteria of height to make him entitled for 10 marks. The amount of Rs.1 lakh deposited by the petitioner before the Registrar of this Court is forfeited and ordered to be deposited with Poor Patients Welfare Fund of GMCH, Sector 32, Chandigarh in terms of order dated 09.05.2022.
