01No.57 dated 25.04.2017 registered at Police Station Kamboj, Amritsar Rural, under Sections 452, 342, 427, 148, 149 IPC be transferred to an independent agency. Learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Sohan Singh would submit that police had conducted thorough investigation and found respondents No.4 to 6 innocent. The cancellation report has already been prepared and submitted to respondent No.2-SSP, Amritsar Rural. On being confronted with this fact, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if respondent No.2 is directed to take decision expeditiously on cancellation report.
