The present petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking direction against the private respondents not to harass or interfere in the personal lives of the petitioners and petitioners are also seeking police protection as they are apprehending danger to their personal liberty.

The petitioners are major and have married against the wishes of their parents. Petitioner No.1 has annexed typed copy of matriculation certificate (Annexure P-1) showing her date of birth as 7.8.1993, whereas date of birth of petitioner No.2 is shown as 18.6.1993 in the Middle Class Certificate (Annexure P-2). The Marriage Certificate has been issued by the Prachin Shiv Mandir, Panchkula on 1.1.2015 (Annexure P-3). In the typed copy the date has wrongly been typed as VIJAY ASIJA 2015.01.02 16:01 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Crl. Misc. No. M-32 of 2015 -22.1.2015. The petitioners have also moved the representation dated 1.1.2015 to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Hoshiarpur seeking protection of their lives and personal liberty. Without going into the controversy and merits of the case including the validity of the marriage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondents No.2 and 3 to take action as warranted by law on the representation moved by the petitioners dated 1.1.2015 (Annexure P-5). Respondents No.2 and 3 are further directed to ensure that no harm is caused to the life and personal liberty of the petitioners at the hands of the private respondents.

With the abovesaid direction, the present petition is disposed of.
