Petitioner-tenants have filed this revision against judgment of Appellate Authority dated 06.01.2020, dismissing their appeal, affirming order of the learned Rent Controller dated 07.09.2018, whereby they were directed to handover the vacant possession of the premises under their tenancy to respondent No.1-landlord within a period of three months. After arguing for some time, when the Bench was dismissing this revision, learned counsel for the petitioners sought four months time to vacate the demised premises.
In view of above request, petitioners are granted four months' time from today to vacate the demised premises, failing which they shall pay mesne profits @ `10,000/- per month from the date of passing of the impugned order of eviction against them dated 07.09.2018 till handing over RAVINDER SINGH 2020.06.29 15:22 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
-2CR-1959 of 2020 (O&M) vacant possession of the demised premises, inasmuch as the property is situated in Ambala Cantt, which is a posh area fetching good rent. Petitioners are directed to file affidavit in this respect before the Rent Controller within a week from today.
