The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner for directions to the respondents No.1 to 3 to take appropriate legal action against the accused person or to register the FIR.

The learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed the representation (Annexure P-8) before the Superintendent of Police, Kaithal. The learned counsel prays for disposing of the present petition by issuing directions to the Superintendent of Police, Kaithal to decide the abovementioned representation within a stipulated time. 3.
Notice of motion.

Since advance notice has already been served upon the State, Mr. Ramender Singh Chauhan, AAG, Haryana, has appeared on behalf of respondent-State. Hence, service of notice upon the State is hereby dispensed with.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the Superintendent of Police Kaithal, to decide the representation of the petitioner (Annexure P-8), by passing a speaking order within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of instant order. It is however clarified that no finding is being returned, by this Court, with regard to merits of the contents of representation. The Superintendent of Police Kaithal, shall be at liberty to make an independent assessment with regard to contents of representation of the petitioner, and take an independent decision at his own level.

The Registry is directed to send a copy of this order along with copy of petition to the Superintendent of Police Kaithal, for necessary compliance.
