There is written request for adjournment on behalf of counsel for the petitioner. Case has been pending since October 2013. Repeated adjournments have been sought. Under the circumstances, prayer for adjournment is hereby rejected. Petitioner has sought a direction to respondents no. 1 to 5 to protect his life and liberty as he apprehends danger from respondents no. 6 & 7.

Learned State counsel at the outset submits that matter has been examined by the concerned police official. It has been found that there was no substance in the representation of the petitioner. He further submits that in case any fresh representation from the petitioner is received, same shall be looked into, if circumstances so warrant.

In view of above, no further direction from the court is necessary. Disposed of.
