(ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to consider the candidature of the petitioner for scrutiny of documents and interview him against the three posts of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) published vide advertisement No. 02/2015 dated 27.06.2015 (Annexure P-1). Learned State counsel submits that relief sought by the petitioner before this Court is rendered infructuous as during pendency of the writ proceedings, vide a public announcement dated 21.05.2020, final result qua the post in question has already been declared after conducting the interviews.

In course of hearing, learned State counsel has handed over a copy of communication dated 11.07.2022, which is taken on record and marked as Annexure 'A', from the office of Haryana Staff Selection Commission addressed to the office of learned Advocate General appending therewith a copy of the result.
