NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari, for quashing the promotion order of Shri Jagtar Singh as Supervisor and petitioner be considered and promoted from the date respondent Jagtar Singh was promoted and be allowed all rights, benefits and privileges attached to the said post. Since there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and respondents No.1 to 3, therefore, notices were ordered to be issued to the petitioner as well as respondents No.1 to 3. As per office report, notice issued to respondents No.2 and 3 have been received back unserved with the report "office shifted to MOHD YAKUB 2024.10.24 17:40 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Punjab & Haryana High Court at Chandigarh

CWP No.16987 of 2000 (O&M) Mohali" and notice issued to the petitioner has been received back with the report that he has died.

Since no legal representatives of the petitioner have been brought on record and also there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
