(ORAL) Through the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., prayer has been made for issuance of directions to respondents No. 1 to 4 to stop conducting third investigation/enquiry on the same set of allegation/complaint of the petitioner, in case FIR No. 112 dated 23.09.2013, registered under Section 420 IPC at Police Station Chohla Sahib, District Tarn Taran.

On instructions from HC Inderjit Singh, learned State counsel submits that the instant petition has rendered infructuous, as respondent No. 5-Milkha Singh, after trial has been acquitted by the trial Court vide judgment dated 12.01.2017.

In view of the above, the instant petition is dismissed as having rendered infructuous.
