Petitioner has filed this petition under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 seeking regular bail in FIR No. 445 dated 15.6.2015 under Section 20 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 ('Act' for short), registered at Police Station City Sirsa.

Heard.

Petitioner is in custody since 15.6.2015. As per the prosecution case, petitioner was found in possession of two bags of ganja weighing 10 kilograms and 550 grams each. Since the recovery effected from the petitioner is marginally on the higher side than the commercial quantity, it would be just and expedient to release the petitioner on bail.

On a query put by this Court, learned State counsel, who is assisted by Assistant Sub Inspector Jagdish Chander, has submitted that petitioner is not involved in any other case under GURPREET SINGH 2015.09.24 15:25 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
