RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of regular bail to petitioner Manjit Singh in a case arising from FIR No.22 dated 03.02.2018 registered under Section 22 of of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, Sections 379-B and 482 IPC and Section 25 of the Arms Act at Police Station City Phagwara, District Kapurthala.
Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that FSL report has not yet been received. Co-accused of the petitioner, namely, Mandeep Singh has already been enlarged on bail by this Court vide order dated 27.07.2018 passed in CRM-M-29493 of 2018. In view of above, treating the case of the petitioner on the same parity as that of his co-accused, but without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the petitioner is granted interim bail subject to furnishing personal bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of Special Court concerned only till receipt of the FSL report. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
