(Oral) In this writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners have prayed for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing respondent No.2 to hold an inquiry and thereafter take action qua removal of respondent No.5 for his wrong doings in view of the complaints Annexures P-1 to P-5. Besides, a further prayer has also been made for suspension of respondent No.5 and appointment of an Administrator in his place, during the pendency of the instant petition. After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would be satisfied, if the petition is disposed off with a direction to the official respondent No.2 to look into the representation dated 10.06.2020 (Annexure P-5) and take appropriate action.

In view of the limited prayer made by the petitioners, the petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2 - Director, Department of Development and Panchayat, Vikas Bhawan, Sector 62, SAS Nagar, Mohali, to look into the representation dated 10.06.2020 (Annexure P-5) and take necessary steps, if any required, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within two months, from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order.
