(proceedings conducted through video conferencing) ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner's father, who was serving State of Haryana, died in harness on 30.3.2019 and despite a period of more than 2 years having elapsed, the death-cum-gratuity benefits have not been released.

It has been submitted that although the petitioner submitted legal notice/representation dated 25.1.2021 (Annexure P-1) but to no avail. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting anything as regards merits of the case, the present petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.2-The Director, Department of Women and Child Development, Haryana to look into the matter and to PANKAJ KAKKAR 2021.05.26 17:19 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

( 2 ) CWP-10263-2021 (O&M) dispose off the legal notice/representation dated 25.1.2021 (Annexure P-1) expeditiously in accordance with law. In case, any death-cum-gratutiy benefits in respect of death of father of the petitioner are found due, the same be disbursed within a period of 3 months from today. In case, the petitioner is eligible for compassionate appointment, the said claim be also considered. A copy of this order alongwith copy of legal notice/representation dated 25.1.2021 (Annexure P-1) be sent to respondent No.2-The Director, Department of Women and Child Development, Haryana for necessary compliance.
