SUVIR SEHGAL, J. (Oral) The Court has been convened through video conferencing due to Covid-19 pandemic.

Through the instant petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No.008 dated 14.01.2020 registered under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B of Indian Penal Code, 1860 at Police Station City Tarn Taran, District Tarn Taran.

Counsel for the petitioners contends that the dispute is regarding non-execution of a sale deed in pursuance to agreement to sell which was entered into in the year 2014. He submits that the dispute is purely civil in nature and has deliberately been given a criminal colour to pressurize the petitioners. CRM-M-20414 of 2021 {2} directed the petitioners to join the investigation and further ordered that no coercive steps qua their arrest shall be taken till the next date of hearing. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Tarsem Singh submits that the petitioners have joined investigation and are no longer required for custodial interrogation. He has specific instructions to submit that the petitioners are not involved in any other criminal case. In view of the above facts, but without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 21.05.2021 granting interim bail to the petitioners is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
