JASWANT SINGH, J (ORAL) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.13 dated 16.5.2005, under Sections 420/176/120-B IPC and 13(1) read with Sections 13(2) of Prevention of Corruption Act,1998, PS Vigilance Bureau,Phase 1, Punjab, Mohali.

As per allegations compensation for non-existent acquired land measuring 9000 kanals for construction of Ranjit Sagar Dam was distributed by the Court on the basis of information submitted by the office of Land Acquisition Collector.

It was contended that the petitioner is neither proprietor nor beneficiary of the compensation yet challan has been presented against him. Be that as it may, petitioner is ready to face trial and seek his remedy in accordance with law.

CRM-M- 32251 of 2015 #2# Proxy counsel appearing for the petitioner points out that the petitioner has since put in appearance before the learned trial Court and has been released on interim bail.

In view of the above, interim protection/bail granted vide order dated 21.09.2015 by this Court is made absolute. Petition stands disposed of.
