Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Five petitioner-convicts have filed the present petition invoking jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.PC praying for quashing of the FIR No.93 dated 1.6.2007 under Sections 323/324/148/149 IPC, PS City Gurdaspur on the basis of alleged compromise dated 26.8.2015(P3). Since the time of filing none has put in appearance on behalf of petitioners on the four previous dates. Position is the same today.

It is apparent from the compromise dated 26.8.2015(P-3) that the petitioners already stand convicted and sentenced for one year each. The appeal filed by the petitioners-convicts is stated to be pending before the Appellate Court.

CRM-M 32259/2015 Supreme Court in Narinder Singh v State of Punjab,2014(2) RCR (Crl.)482, the present petition under Section 482 Cr.PC would not be maintainable.
