While filing the writ petition, the petitioner prays for the issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the order passed on 21.03.2023 whereby he has been suspended from the service. 2.

The petitioner is due to retire on 30.04.2023. As per the impugned order, the petitioner has been suspended as he did not visit the Hon'ble Speaker of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, despite being called. 3.

On 17.04.2023, learned State counsel was requested to take the instructions.

Mr. R.S.Pandher, the learned State counsel submits that in the facts and circumstances of the case, it would be more appropriate if the petitioner represents to the Hon'ble Speaker for forgiveness. 5.

Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to seek appointment from the Hon'ble Speaker of Vidhan Sabha, Punjab within a period of ten days. 7.

Learned State counsel has assured the Court that he will coordinate with the counsel representing the petitioner in getting the appointment.
