The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered at the instance of Simarjit Kaur alleging that the petitioner connived with his coaccused and has duped the complainant for a sum of Rs. 10 lacs on the pretext of sending her son to Australia on work permit, whereas he was sent to Malaysia. The petitioner is alleged to have introduced the complainant to the main accused.
In view of the above, the petitioner having joined the investigation, can be granted the concession of pre-arrest bail. Accordingly, the petition is allowed and it is ordered that in case of arrest of the petitioner, he will be released on bail to the satisfaction of the arresting officer subject to the condition that the petitioner will join the investigation as and when required by the police and will not tamper with evidence or hamper the investigation. The petitioner will not leave India without the permission of the court.
