NARESH KUMAR SANGHI, J.(Oral) Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 482, Cr.P.C., is for issuance of direction to hand over the investigation to Crime Branch of Haryana Police or any other independent agency for investigation of FIR No.622, dated 28.11.2014, for the offences punishable under Sections 120-B, 406, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 506, IPC, registered at Police Station, Gharaunda, District Karnal.

At the asking of the Court, Mr.Pawan Gaur, DAG, Haryana, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the State. A complete copy of the paper-book has been supplied to him by the learned counsel for the petitioner in the Court room today itself.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and going through the material available on record, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the Inspector General of Police, Karnal Range, Karnal, to form a Special Investigation Team consisting of the officer of the rank of Superintendent of Police, an Inspector of Police and one more Officer of his choice to investigate the matter and periodically report the progress of the investigation to the Inspector General of Police, Karnal Range, Karnal. It is expected that the investigation of the present case would be completed expeditiously.
