The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking issuance of direction to respondents No. 3 and 4 to promote the petitioner on the post of Clerk in the Market Committee Mehal Kalan. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already raised the said grievance in the application dated 10.03.2023 (Annexure P-7) but the same is still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the same by passing an appropriate speaking order in a time bound manner. 3.

Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Malkiat Singh, DAG, Punjab, who is present in Court, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and submits that in case, the application dated 10.03.2023 (Annexure P-7) has been received in the office of the concerned authorities and the same is still pending consideration with the authorities concerned, the same will be decided by the competent authority within a period of eight weeks from the RIYA 2025.04.11 00:49 I am the author of this document

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that in case the claim of the petitioner is found feasible to be accepted, an appropriate order will be passed and in case the same is not found feasible to be accepted, detailed reasons for rejecting the claim of the petitioner will be mentioned in the speaking order.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that keeping in view the statement of learned State counsel, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further. 7.

Ordered accordingly.

Pending civil miscellaneous application, if any, stands disposed of.
