******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 439 Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.118 dated 21.06.2015 registered for the offence punishable under Section 22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 at Police Station Division no. 1 Jalandhar, District Jalandhar. Heard.

As per case of prosecution, 110 gms. of intoxicating powder (Alprazolam) was recovered from the petitioner. As per custody certificate, petitioner has undergone 1 year 11 months and 22 days of sentence.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite presentation of challan about two years ago prosecution has not been able to conclude its evidence so far and till date only one witness has been examined.
