ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this petition is for issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to investigate the case FIR No.249 dated 11.07.2016 registered under Sections 120-B, 420, 467, 468, 471, 477 and 506 IPC at Police Station Sadar, Sonepat, in accordance with law and take appropriate action against the accused persons. Reply by way of affidavit of Dalvir Singh, Inspector, SHO, P.S. Sadar, Sonepat on behalf of the respondents filed in the Court is taken on record.

As per the reply, the cancellation report has been prepared on 28.10.2016 and the same is pending approval of the higher authorities. Accordingly, counsel for the petitioner submits that the petition may be dismissed having been rendered infructuous, at this stage, to enable him to file a protest petition/complaint at the appropriate stage before the trial Court.
