Prayer in the present petition is to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners and provide security to them as they are apprehending danger to their life and liberty at the hands of respondents No. 6 to 8. Petitioners are claiming to be major and they solemnized their marriage against the wishes of private respondents.
On 4.3.2015, respondent No.7-Goradeen was present in the Court, and present today as well. Respondent No.7 states that he has no objection to the marriage, solemnized by the petitioners. Petitioners also does not dispute the statement of respondent No.7. Even learned State counsel on instructions from ASI Paramjeet Singh states that there is no threat perception to the petitioners any more. Hence, no cause of action survive to the petitioners and the present petition is liable to be dismissed being rendered infructuous. Dismissed as having become infructuous.
