SANJAY VASHISTH, J (Oral) Reply by way of affidavit of Nirmal Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Kurukshetra, dated 24.03.2025, is filed today in Court. Same is taken on record. Registry is directed to tag it at appropriate place.

In pursuance of the order dated 20.03.2025, detenue Neha has been produced by Inspector Vikrant, SHO, Police Station, Sadar Pehowa. Petitioner Manish Chauhan is also present. On being asked by the Court, detenue Neha, in clear terms, stated that she is willing to go and settle safely with her husband, i.e. Manish Chauhan (petitioner). 3.
As per the reply filed, the statement of respondent No.4, Balbir Kaur (mother of the detenue), statement of respondent No.6, Aman Kumar (brother of detenue), and statement of respondent No.5, Joginder Singh (grand-father of the detenue) have been recorded, who expressed their no objection to the marriage of the detenue with petitioner. Inspector/SHO Vikrant, who is present in Court, states that it was realised that there is an apprehension to life of the couple or there can be any damage to the fetus of detenue who is stated to be in family way, petitioner and the detenue have been provided shelter in the safe home of city Kurukshetra.

In addition, respondent Nos.4 to 6, who are present in the Court also furnished their respective affidavits, dated 25.03.2025, stating therein that they have no objection to the marriage of Neha and Manish Chauhan and that they will not cause any harm or give any threatening to them. Reply and the affidavits are taken on record. Registry to tag the same at appropriate place. 6.
In view of the specific stand taken by the detenue-Neha and undertaking given by respondent Nos.4 to 6 in their respective affidavits dated 25.03.2025, no further orders or directions are required to be passed in the present petition.

Let the detenue-Neha be allowed to leave the Safe Home of City Kurukshetra and to go to any place of her choice and free will. 8.
The petition stands disposed of.
