(Oral) The grievance of the petitioner is that on 13.07.2016 he was picked up by respondent Nos.4 to 8 from his residence and misbehaved with him and used foul language. Petitioner was acquitted in a criminal case, which was registered by his wife Paramjeet Kaur, vide order dated 15.07.2016 (Annexure P-1), by the learned Sessions Judge, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar.
Vide order dated 08.01.2016 (Annexure P-5), the statement had been made before this Court by the police that there was no case against petitioner Gulshan Kumar and he was not required by the police in any criminal case. However, in case any matter is reported against him, they will issue him written notice and initiate necessary action. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the above-said fact, the petitioner has been harassed on 13.07.2016 by Naresh Kumar 2016.09.24 10:10 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh respondent No.4 to 8, without any right or authority.
CRM-M-33263-2016 (O&M) -2In view of above, without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar (respondent No.2), to look into the case of the petitioner and take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
