Petitioner has filed instant petition under Section 528 of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) 2023 for quashing of FIR No.89 dated 11.10.2023 under Sections 363, 366-A of IPC, 1860 (Section 366 IPC, 1860 added later on), registered at Police Station Division No.3, District Jalandhar (Annexure P-1) on the basis of compromise. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner states that after filing of the present petition seeking quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise, offences under Section 376 of IPC and Section 6 of POCSO Act have been added. Therefore, she has instructions to withdraw present petition seeking quashing of aforesaid FIR with liberty to file fresh with complete particulars. 3.
In view of the statement, present petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with aforesaid liberty.
