(Oral) The grievance of the petitioner is that a case has been registered against accused-Karam Singh son of Dhani, vide FIR No.85 dated 29.06.2015, under Section 379 IPC at Police Station Nurpur Bedi and he has gone abroad despite the reports (Annexures P-4 P-5) whereby he was to take permission before going to abroad. In this regard, a representation dated 17.06.2016 (Annexure P-7) has been given to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar (respondent No.2) but no action has been taken thereon till date.

In view of above, without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar (respondent No.2), to look into the representation (Annexure P-7), filed by the petitioner and take appropriate action, in accordance with law.
