(ORAL) Prayer in this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is for quashing FIR No. 128 dated 20.05.2015 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 406 and 498-A IPC at Police Station Chandimandir, District Panchkula and all other consequential proceedings arising therefrom. At the outset, on instructions from SI Surajmal, learned counsel for the State submits that the instant petition has been rendered infructuous, as the petitioners/accused in the abovesaid FIR, have been acquitted by the trial Court vide judgment dated 26.05.2023. A copy of judgment dated 26.05.2023, filed by learned counsel for the State is taken on record.
Learned counsel for respondent No. 2-complainant does not dispute the aforesaid facts.
In view of the above, the instant petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
