Versus
State of Punjab

CORAM: HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE JAISHREE THAKUR
Present:
Mr.Amandeep Singh, Advocate, for the petitioner.
Mr. N.K. Banka, DAG, Punjab.
**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) The prayer in the instant petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail to the petitioner-Kirandeep Kaur @ Nanu in FIR No.11 dated 10.02.2016 for the offence under Sections 363, 366-A IPC and later on added Section 376, 342, 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Jodhan, District Ludhiana.
It is contended that the petitioner herein has already been released on interim bail by order date 7.2.2017. It is also submitted that the prosecutrix has been examined in which she has turned hostile. In view of these facts, it is argued that the petitioner should be admitted to regular bail. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State confirms the fact that the prosecutrix has submitted that she would like to reside with Ravinder Singh. Trial is likely to take some time to conclude. The petitioner is already on interim bail.
