TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA , J. (ORAL) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the order, dated 27.02.2025, Annexure P-7, whereby the private respondents have been nominated as members of the Executive Council allegedly in violation of Statute 11 of Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology Murthal Act, 2006 (for short, 'the Act of 2006'). 2.

Learned counsel for the respondents-University points out that the petitioner has an alternate remedy under Section 31 of the Act of 2006 to make a representation regarding irregular or illegal appointment of members of any authority to the Chancellor, whose decision in that regard shall be Seema 2025.04.03 17:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

 CWP-8432-2025  final. He submits that the petitioner had already made a representation, dated 03.03.2025, Annexure P-8, to the University in this regard which will be forwarded to the Chancellor within a period of seven days for an appropriate decision.

In view of the statement made by learned counsel for the University, learned counsel for the petitioner has no objection to the petition being disposed of in terms thereof.
