This petition has been filed seeking directions to the trial Court for expeditious disposal of Criminal Complaint bearing registration no. CHI/708/2018, and CNR No. HRBH03-004423-2018 dated 9.8.2018 titled State v. Arun Sihag and others in FIR No. 149 dated 25.5.2018 registered at Police Station Civil Lines, Bhiwani, District Bhiwani. 2.
Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Pardeep, submits that the trial of the case commenced and the first witness was examined on 9.8.2019. Subsequently, examination-in-chief of the complainant was recorded, and she moved an application under Section 319 Cr.P.C. for summoning the additional accused was filed on 6.12.2021, which is pending adjudication. It was fixed for arguments before the trial Court on 20.8.2022, and then on 5.11.2022 but could not be decided as the arguments were not advanced. The case was adjourned to 4.2.2023, when another application was moved by the complainant seeking recovery of the dowry articles. The submissions have been considered. Keeping in view the fact that the petitioner is an old lady of about sixty years and is facing trial since 2019, it is deemed appropriate to direct the trial Court to expeditiously conclude the same.
