Present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been preferred by the petitioner seeking directions to respondents No.1 & 2 to protect the lives and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondent No.5. Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that petitioners had made a representation dated 5.7.2017 (Annexure P1) to respondent No.2-Inspector General of Police, Patiala Zone, Patiala, but the same remained unattended till now.

Having considered the submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioners and perusal of record, respondent No.2-Inspector General of Police, Patiala Zone, Patiala, is directed to look into the representation dated 5.7.2017 (Annexure P1) and take required action, if any, as per law. With the aforesaid observations made and directions issued, the present petition stands disposed of.
