AMIT RAWAL J. (Oral) Prayer in present writ petition is for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents to treat the earned leave period (183 days) of the petitioner from 26.07.2016 to 24.01.2017 as duty period as he did not avail it.

CWP No.10875 of 2019 {2} In view of statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner and without going into merit of case or commenting thereon, present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the legal notice dated 04.09.2018 (Annexure P-9) by passing a well reasoned and speaking order within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
In case, representation is not decided within aforementioned specified time, there shall be costs of Rs.25,000/- to be paid by the concerned officer to the petitioner.
