This is a petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.139 dated 03.05.2020 under Sections 307/324/ 326/ 506/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 25 of the Arms Act,1959 registered at Police Station Sadar Amritsar, District Amritsar (Punjab). On 30.06.2020, the following order was passed:- "Heard through video conferencing.
This is a petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.139 dated 03.05.2020 under Sections 307/324/326/506/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 registered at Police Station Sadar Amritsar, District Amritsar.
It has been contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the role attributed to the petitioner is that he gave a datar blow on the hand of Jaimal Singh. He further states that the fight was because of sudden provocations and was an unfortunate incident.

Meanwhile, the petitioner shall join the investigation and would come present as and when called. In the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be admitted to bail on furnishing adequate surety and personal bonds to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. The petitioner shall abide by all terms and conditions as specified under Section 438(2) of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973."
Today, learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Sahib Singh, has stated that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is co-operating.
In view of the above, the order dated 30.06.2020 is made absolute. The petitioner shall, however, come present as and when called for investigation. The petitioner shall also abide by all the terms and conditions as specified under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. Petition stands disposed off accordingly.
