The petition under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been moved by the petitioner for grant of anticipatory bail in the event of her arrest in FIR No.19, dated 27.03.2018, under section 306 of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Joga, District Mansa.

This Court vide order dated 09.08.2018 directed the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer. It was further ordered that on her appearance, she shall be released on ad-interim bail to the satisfaction of Arresting Officer and petitioner shall abide by the terms and conditions laid down under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

It is submitted on behalf of learned State Counsel, on instructions from A.S.I. Amrik Singh, that the petitioner has joined investigation and her custodial interrogation is not required. 4.

Consequently, the interim bail earlier granted to the petitioner is made absolute.
