(ORAL) By way of the instant writ petition, the petitioner has approached this Court for seeking the relief of the issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No.2 and 3 to consider the letter Annexure P-1 as written by respondent No.4 to respondent No.3 qua the correction of the date of his (petitioner's) birth in the HR data, while averring that his actual date of birth is 02.02.1971 as mentioned on the first page of his service book Annexure P-2 but however, the same has, inadvertently, been mentioned as 02.01.1964 in the respondent-Corporation's HR data and though, he moved representation Annexure P-3 for seeking correction thereof but in vain.

Heard.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case the instant writ petition is treated as the representation on his behalf and a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to look into and take action on the same, within some specific time-frame. Learned State counsel has no objection for the same. Keeping in view the above-discussed limited prayer as made by learned counsel for the petitioner and without commenting upon the merits of the case in hand, the instant writ petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-Director (Administration), Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, Patiala, to treat the present writ petition as the representation on behalf of the petitioner. The petitioner would submit the copy of this writ petition to respondent No.2 within a period of fifteen days from today and he shall look into/deal with/take action thereon in accordance with law/relevant rules within a period of two months thereafter.
