The present contempt petition has been filed for deliberate and intentional disobedience of order dated 15.01.2026 passed by this Court in CRWP-13774-2025, whereby respondents were directed to decide the representation filed by the petitioners.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Animesh Sharma, Addl. Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and contends that in compliance of order dated 15.01.2026, a speaking order dated 12.02.2026 has been passed by the Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana. He has produced a copy of the said speaking order dated 12.02.2026 in the Court. The same is taken on record. In view of the above, since order dated 15.01.2026 passed by this Court in CRWP-13774-2025, has been complied with, therefore, the present contempt is purged and rule stands discharged. 5.
