(ORAL) Prayer in this petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. is for grant of regular bail in case FIR No. 312 dated 29.10.2023 registered under Section 10 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012 and Sections 452, 506 and 34 of IPC at Police Station Barara, District Ambala.

Custody certificate dated 04.07.2024 filed in Court today is taken on record, as per which, the petitioner has undergone the custody period of 8 months and 4 days as an undertrial. After arguing for sometime, when this Court is not inclined to accord the benefit of regular bail to the petitioner; learned counsel submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition, at this stage.
