*** Daya Chaudhary, J. (Oral) Case has been taken up through video conferencing in view of COVID-19 Pandemic.
The petitioner has filed this writ petition for releasing him on emergency parole for a period of four weeks to attend and assist his ailing wife, who is having uterus problem.
Mr. Ankur Mittal, learned State counsel, who was asked to get instructions during hearing of the case submits that the petitioner has neither moved any application nor made any request to the authorities concerned. Earlier an application was moved by the petitioner before the jail authorities for grant of parole for agricultural work but no such application for ailment of his wife has been moved.
Accordingly, we do not find any reason to grant parole to the petitioner. However, he is at liberty to move an application before the jail

authorities. In case, such application is moved within a period of one week from today, the jail authorities are directed to consider and take action on the application in accordance with law after perusing the medical reports within a period of one week thereafter.
Disposed of accordingly.
