Mr. Raghav Sharma, Advocate, for respondent No.2. RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) In compliance of order dated 25.02.2020, learned counsel for the petitioner has produced receipts of `20,000/-. The same are taken on record. Registry is directed to verify the deposit of costs by the petitioner with the concerned quarters.

Prayer in the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been made for quashing FIR No.101 dated 24.05.2017 registered under Sections 406, 420, 120-B IPC at Police Station Babain, District Kurukshtra, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties. Pursuant to order dated 15.11.2018 of this Court, the parties appeared before learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Shahabad, on 06.12.2018 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Shahabad, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.559 RAVINDER SINGH 2020.03.07 14:12 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2CRM-M-33594 of 2018 dated 07.12.2018, duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Kurukshetra, vide letter No.7091(J) dated 08.12.2018. According to the above report, compromise effected between the parties is quite genuine and voluntary.

Therefore, in view of above and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, FIR No.101 dated 24.05.2017 registered under Sections 406, 420, 120-B IPC at Police Station Babain, District Kurukshtra, and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed qua petitioner only.

Disposed of accordingly.
