The petitioner has preferred the present Civil Writ Petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, for the issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the order dated 06.12.2020, Annexure P-5, vide which the benefits were granted to him on notional basis. Learned counsel, on instructions, submits that the petitioner shall be satisfied if the respondent-State be directed to decide his claim pending in the office of Accountant General, Punjab, in accordance with Instructions dated 27.12.2018, Annexure R-2, including the grant of interest on the due amount.

Learned State counsel, on instructions, has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent-State to consider and decide the claim of the petitioner as Ramandeep Singh 2024.02.12 18:52 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
