******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The petitioner has filed this petition seeking direction to police of District Tarn Taran to take appropriate legal action against private respondents, who have threatened him and his family members as he has filed complaint against them for forging his signatures. In reply filed by the State, it is stated that allegations levelled by the petitioner in his complaint about forging of his signatures were found to be false.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with direction to Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran to look into the apprehension of petitioner regarding threat to his life and that of his family members, verify the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law.
