Learned counsel for the petitioners confines her submission only for direction to Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to look into representation of petitioners, copy of which has been placed on file as Annexure P-1. She submits that respondent Gagandeep Singh is giving on after the other false representations against the petitioners in order to harass them but she has nowhere mentioned that any action has been taken by the police on the complaints of Gagandeep.
Keeping in view the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner but without expressing any opinion on merits, this petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Commissioner of Police, Amritsar to look into the representation Annexure P-1 made by petitioner and take appropriate action in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that the above order will not be interpreted as providing protection to the petitioners from any legal action taken in any civil, criminal or any other proceedings initiated/pending against him in accordance with law.
