-.- JAISHREE THAKUR J. (ORAL) Learned counsel appearing for petitioners would submit that both the petitioners are major. Petitioner No.1 is living separately from her husband for the last six years and her divorce case is pending before the lower Court whereas petitioner No.2 is also facing ex parte divorce case and is living separately from his wife for the last three years. It is further stated that both the petitioners are in a live-in relationship. They have apprehension of threat to their life at liberty at the hands of private respondents No.4 & 5. In this regard, they have also submitted a representation dated 25.06.2020 (Annexure P-3) to respondent No.2 but no action has been taken so far.
Without commenting on the relationship between petitioner No.1 and 2 and entering upon an exercise to evaluate the evidentiary value of the documents placed on the file, I dispose of this petition with direction to respondent No.2 to decide the representation of the petitioners (Annexure P-3) within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this
CRWP No.4257 of 2020 (O&M) -2order and grant them protection, if any threat to their life and liberty is perceived. It is made clear that this order shall not be taken to protect the petitioners from legal action for violation of law, if any committed by them.
