*** HARSIMRAN SINGH SETHI , J. (ORAL) Counsel for the petitioner states that though the petitioner retired on 31.03.2018, but except the GPF, no other benefit has been released to the petitioner.

Counsel for the petitioner further states that after the retirement, petitioner was extended the benefit of 3rd ACP w.e.f. 01.09.2009 and even the arrears of the said benefits are still to be released by the respondents.

Counsel for the petitioner further states that though the Principal Secretary, Urban Local Bodies, Haryana already directed the Municipal Corporation, Karnal-respondent No.5, to release the benefits to the petitioner, vide his letter dated 10.09.2018, but no action being taken NARESH KUMAR 2019.04.26 15:24 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Counsel for the petitioner further states that for claiming the said benefits, the petitioner has submitted the representations (Annexure P-7 to P-17), but no reply has been received in response by the petitioner to those representations.

Counsel for the petitioner further states that petitioner will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to respondent No.5 to decide the representation dated 22.02.2019 (Annexure P-17).

In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioner, respondent No.5 is directed to decide the representation dated 22.02.2019 (Annexure P-17) by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to him within a period of next three months.

Present writ petition stands disposed of.
