ANIL KSHETARPAL, J(Oral) It is alleged by the petitioner that he was found innocent by the police and his name was put in column no.2 while presenting challan and the co-accused has been acquitted but still his name continues as an accused in the police record. The apprehension as expressed by the petitioner is wholly misconceived as once the police after investigation found the petitioner to be innocent and the case against the co-accused has resulted into acquittal and in absence of any further order against the petitioner, no proceedings are pending in the case in question. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the present petition is disposed of accordingly.
