(Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.45 dated 17.09.2017 under Sections 376-D/120-B IPC registered at Police Station Amir Khas, District Ferozepur. Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sukhdev Singh, submits that in the FIR in question, the police has already prepared cancellation report, which is pending consideration before the higher authorities for approval.
